About cassidy
Cassidy Carlson is a coach and consultant specializing in transformational leadership. She partners with individuals and mission-driven teams to lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Drawing on over 10 years of executive experience in nonprofit and educational organizations, Cassidy is known for her calm presence, strategic mindset, and ability to bridge people and systems effectively. Most recently, Cassidy served as Senior Vice President for Musician Advancement and Dean of the New World Symphony, where she developed and led the post-graduate Fellowship program. This innovative curriculum combined orchestral performance, community engagement, and leadership training. She also oversaw the Fellowship experience, admissions, and alumni activities. Cassidy joined the New World Symphony in 2013, advancing through roles including Assistant to the Dean, Community Engagement Manager, Director of Community Engagement, and Vice President for Musician Advancement. Prior to her work at New World Symphony, Cassidy held positions at Florida Grand Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, and the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General. She holds a BA in History and Music from Amherst College and an MBA from the University of Florida. Cassidy lives in Miami Beach, where she embraces her most cherished role: Mom to two human children and three furry ones.
